In this program our goals focus on business & workplace communication as well as how we can serve the needs of our learners to be more effective communicators when negotiating, emailing, on an online call, or presenting.


A language coaching approach will sensitize you, the language coach to  the communication elements at play so that your coaching can accommodate better for business settings unique to the learner. This is exactly what we are going to help you do during our program: make sure you are the one who helps your clients through their language and communication-related challenges.


If you feel less in control of how to support your clients these days - 2 trainers will be there to provide expert advice all through the program - you can turn to them with any questions you may have.


Do you want to understand what is really challenging your ideal learners? Maybe it's that no-one has ever asked them the questions to actually think it through?  Together we will  look into multiple perspectives to get the creative ideas and coaching skills fired up!


We will help you build your skill set and your corporate toolkit so you will be able to get to the core of communication issues your learners are not making breakthroughs with – yet. 


We might actually be coaching confidence, motivation… not language at all, language issues may be secondary.


Are you familiar with language coaching, have you already attended an ILCA course or do you have a coaching background already? This course is for you!


Will you learn how to teach negotiating, presenting, holding meetings…? No. We believe coaching is not about providing information in the lesson, but creating awareness, clarity and finding ways to tap into the creative self to find unique strategies to work towards goals.



Program outcomes will be:

  • learning about alternative ways to measure performance and development for learners
  • remaining in a positive state of mind in a competitive business arena - for the coach and learner alike
  • communicating while nurturing coach and learner self-care and well being issues
  • supporting learners better so their performance in cross-cultural/trans-cultural communication is clear to all by working on their awareness and communication
  • planning skills
  • using trust, EQ, teamwork dynamics to leverage communication skills
  • building on sharing with the team/group/organization to increase communication and efficiency
  • plugging into CPDs and PLOs, goal-setting
  • handling excuses and leadership issues
  • working on expectations coming from multiple sources
  • stakeholder management in a coaching framework
  • VUCA and addressing change in various lockdown scenarios at the workplace
  • Supporting the future work skills (soft skills) of our learners, so they perform their work better
  • how to write a coaching approach report
  • learning to use a variety of Corporate LC tools
  • learning to find your clients and describing your LC service so organizations will want to hire you.


All 4 modules will incorporate:

  • theoretical background
  • working through case studies + discussions
  • peer coaching + reflections
  • demo coaching + observations
  • role playing typical scenarios
  • an assortment of activities to practice the art of working in class with corporate LC
  • tools
  • complementary handbook

Over view of modules: 

Modules are taught through a mixture of live online, discussion and practice based sessions + recorded videos explaining and expanding on the theoretical basis of the language coaching approach.

How to make use of positive psychology in coaching; working with expectations and

mindsets, roles.


Module 2: Inter and Cross Cultural Corporate Communication 

Professional self expression and clarity in the target language, building trust and empathy; well-being for coach and client. Inter- and cross-cultural themes,

multinational/transnational organisations


Module 3: Client Empowerment through Language and Leadership Goals

Client support through resources and alignment with personal, professional, organizational goals; working with the strengths of teams, groups and the organization itself


Module 4: How to Elevate Yourself as a Business Language Coach 

Marketing, repositioning, creating the future for yourself as a language professional
